Dad

It's been nearly six years but I still love and miss you.

There are still nights were I cry myself to sleep because you are not here.

There has been many times that I've wish so hard just to hear your voice, your jokes and your famous whistle.

I understand now why you had to go and I thank you and God for that.

Your untimely death made me realize how short life is and enabled me to be strong enough to leave the misery behind and change my life for the better.

Thank you.

I love you.

That was Dads Favoriate Train. His passion for trains was so great that he started to build his own miniture railway. He had great plans for it and started to collect houses, bridges and figures to complete it with. He started this about 10 years before he passed away. He would work on it every now and then but it never got completed.

Michael has it now and it will be interesting to see him complete it or if it will be a heirloom that is handed down from generation to generation. Dad has a collection of train plates that are still on the lounge room wall for every one to see

Dads brother in law Cliff also had a passion for trains and they both went on a train trips here in Tasmania.
