The haunting melody, we now know as "Taps" .. used at military funerals is vocalize by these haunting words.
. Day is done .. Gone the sun .. From the lakes . From the hills From the sky . All is well . Safely rest .. God is nigh ... Fading light . Dims the sight ... And a star . Gems the sky .. Gleaming bright .. From afar . Drawing nigh .. Stills the night . Thanks and praise ... For our days ... Neath the sun ... Neath the stars..Neath the sky .. As we go ... This we know ... God is nigh

Roses in Heaven
Beautiful Red, Pink Yellow and White Roses, They all say "I Love You" The thorns on the bush remind us That mistakes need forgiveness to! Red roses tell of Gods beauty, That often thrills my soul. The Yellow whispers of His Love Chasing away sadness and making us whole The Pink is for the blush in my cheeks When laughter chases the blues away, The White tells of his forgiveness, We share together each day. -- If roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me, Place them in my Daddy's arms, And tell him there from me, Tell him that I love and miss him, And when he turns to smile, Place a kiss upon his cheek, And hold him for a while Remembering him is easy, I do it everyday, But there's an ache within my heart, That will never go away.
I love you Daddy Hope |
All the tears that I have cried,
Would fill an ocean, Daddy
I carry you with me always,
Deep with in my heart.
Well Loved and Sadly Missed by your daughter Hope,
