in my mind again,
Delicate Webs of pain,
I feel myself turned inside out,
Again and yet again.
I came to see you Dr Dreams,
To ease my aching heart,
The pain of failed and broken dreams,
Was tearing me apart.
You gave me pills and powders,
Herbs and potions too,
Combining in my heart and soul,
Into one unholy brew,
I came to take the pain away,
But you rather took my mind,
With the shackles of addiction,
My spirit, you did bind.
Ill leave you now, if I can,
You are tearing out my soul
For all Ive been and done before,
I choose to live a free man,
Shadows in my mind again,

The Northern Territory covers an area of 1,35 million square kilometers. With a population of 182.000 (in 1998) there is 1% of the Australian inhabitants living in the Northern Territory. The Northern Territory unlike most of the other states, do not have daylight savings or four seasons. Instead we have only the dry season and the wet season, but towards the end of the dry season there is a period of time that is called the build up to the wet. The tourist season is normally between May and September but people are starting to realize that Darwin is a place to see not only during the dry but also the wet session with an increasing number of visitors coming up to experience the wet, Darwin style

Jesse's wish is anti drug use but I understand people sometimes get caught up in things beyond their control and we should never give up on anyone. Jesse lost his fight, but he never lost hope. This site is to form friendships and promote up and coming youth that have chosen a drug free life. So this web is for us all. JESSE'S WISH WAS FOUNDED BECAUSE I formed "Jesse's Wish - Get High on Life" after the death of my only child Jesse from mixed drug toxicity on 28/10/99, to campaign for better rehabilitation services for everyone 3 Hours before my son died in my arms he begged me to help him and others trapped in the debilitating cycle of drug misuse and mental illness. There is little I can do but make the people and the government aware of the devastating effect drug misuse and/or suicide has on the family and society as a whole. Did you know there are NO in-house rehabilitation options for youth under 18 in the NT. Addiction is here, it is a medical condition, affecting some kids as young as 10 years old. It is imperative that youth be given the option of rehabilitation while they are relatively new to addiction, before they become long term users as it then, in so many cases becomes a life long battle that ultimately ends in anti social behavior, infectious disease, amputation, stroke or death. So please make yourselves heard. It may not be your kid yet, but do you really know what they are up to with their mates? Dealers are everywhere. It is up to us to educate the kids, so they know the facts of drug misuse so they are better equipped to make a sound decision, when tempted as they surely will be. So love them, speak openly about drug use and educate them, demand rehab services for our youth, as they may be gone tomorrow, dead is forever it is better to act now, unless you want to join me, in hell, wishing you had acted sooner.
